Danish Federation for Company Sport
first with health certification
in Denmark

Danish workplaces must begin to include considerations of health at assembly lines and
office desks.

The method is a health certification, which the Danish Federation for Company Sport (DFIF)
wants to be made into an optional but attractive offer.

With Sweden as model, the Federation wants to help businesses make the working day healthier for their employees, and after a period of time, which is yet to be determined,
the initiatives will be evaluated, and certified if they live up to the specified requirements
and ambitions.

- This certification should be achievable for everybody, but it has to be difficult.
Businesses must be prepared to move forward and help to strengthen public health,
it’s not enough to just toss some lettuce into the canteen.
In return, they gain a better workforce and a positive image in the surrounding
environment, it is emphasized by Bo Isaksen, department manager with DFIF.
