EFCS’s Executive Board decided to begin the new era in the history of European Company Sports and starts to organize on annual basis the EFCS conference. The EFCS’s new charter broadens the role of EFCS as the important company sports network as an independent part of European sport movement. Especially, European Union’s White Paper
on Sport provides to this network challenging opportunities.

In fact, there has been an urgent need to have the platform for company sports experts with the purpose of providing them the place to exchange experiences and knowledge.
In addition, company sports has gotten an important mission as the vital part of European Sport For All movement. The EFCS has the unique role in the European company sports and therefore, the EFCS have to go forward and develop systematically this area of European Sport For All.

However, the most urgent need in the European Company Sports is to establish the European wide company sports program. The focus on this program shall be on sports activities and health related Physical Activity Promotion.

To conclude, the 1^st EFCS Conference will be meeting really big challenges. And it is important, that all the EFCS members will take part in this conference and give their knowledge and opinions to common use.
