Didier Besseyre re-elected as EFCS president

 

 

Election EFCS president

 

During EFCS’ General Assembly held in Paris on June 13th, 2010, the 23 represented
member countries unanimously re-elected Mr. Besseyre as EFCS president.

Mr. Besseyre who chairs also the French Company Sport Federation, re-appointed
mr. Musa Lami and mr. Rudi Thummel respectively as EFCS secretary general and EFCS treasurer.

 

Election composition EFCS Executive Committee:

 

President: Didier Besseyre (France).
Vice-presidents: Galina Gorbatenkova (Latvia) and Guy De Grauwe (Belgium).
Members: Peder Bisgaard (Denmark), Harry Burghoorn (the Netherlands), Vladimir Findak (Croatia), Jorma Savola (Finland), Reinhard Sitzler (Austria), Uwe Tronnier (Germany).

 

Honorary member

 

Mr. Antonio Mauri (Italy), long serving Executive Committee member, was awarded the
title of honorary member.

 

Election host city European Company Sport Games 2015

 

The General Assembly choose the city of Riccione (Italy) as host city for the 2015 games. Ghent (Belgium) and Aalborg (Denmark) were the 2 other candidates.
Hamburg in 2011 and Prague in 2013 organise the next European games.

 

New member

 

The Republic of San Marino was unanimously accepted as EFCS’ 30th member country.

 

Membership fee

 

The General Assembly decided to raise the yearly membership fee from 650 EUR to 750 EUR.

 

Election host city General Assembly 2012

 

Riga, capital of Latvia, was chosen as host city of the 2012 General Assembly.
Monaco and Zaragoza were the 2 other candidates.
