EFCS leaders on a special mission in Strasburg
The journey to the French city of Strasburg, the official seat of the European Parliament, EFCS president Didier Besseyre and general secretary Musa Lami recently made, had all but a tourist character.
Indeed, in the Alsace, a meeting was scheduled with Mr. Mevlüt ÇAVUSOGLU, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and with Mr. Roberto FASINO, Head of the Culture and Sustainable Development Department
of the Parliamentary Assembly.
Main objective was to examine and to discuss the principle of a collaboration
with the European Parliament given the fact that both the European Parliament
and EFCS have several goals and projects in common.
Other important item on the agenda was the possible organization of an international conference in connection to a unique sports event.
At the end of the meeting, both parties left with the mutual engagement and commitment to finalize the discussions in the coming months and to make concrete steps towards the realization of one or more projects. |
