PROMOTING ACTIVE CITIES THROUGHOUT EUROPE

European Federation for Company Sport is a partner of the Pacte Project, led by Sport and Citizenship (France). Acting as a direct follow-up to the PASS project, PACTE seeks to take a further step towards increasing active cities across the continent.

PACTE wishes to focus on physical activity in Europe, at a city level. The three core elements to do so are:

• a European-wide representative survey of cities’ physical activity policies and practices;
• the creation of an evidenced-based matrix for change for Active Cities, offering tailored solutions for continuous change;
• the development and delivery of a communication campaign aimed at European cities for the promotion of physical activity.

Towns, villages, and cities of all sizes are encouraged to fill in the questionnaire, and take a chance to potentially become an Active City!
