WHAT IS ERASMUS+?

PRESENTATION

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of €14.7 billion offers opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad.

The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU’s strategic framework for education and training.

  • Reducing unemployment, especially among young people
  • Promoting adult learning, especially for new skills and skills required by the labour market.
  • Encouraging young people to take part in European democracy
  • Supporting innovation, cooperation and reform
  • Reducing early school leaving
  • Promoting cooperation and mobility with EU partner countries

OUR PROJECTS & VISIONS

WMP

Work Move and Perf project is the first EU study on the effects of PSA for employees’ performance and well-being. At the end, the data collected will be made available for free as a toolkit on an online platform. A “Company Sport Supporters Network” and “European Observatory of Company Sport” will also be set up.

Move at Work

Move at Work (M@W) is the follow-up project of WAC – Workplace Active Certification. The purpose is to create an online platform and a digital educational programme (MOOC) to educate, train, and democratise the implementation of company sport.

Run for Div

Run for Diversity will contribute to advancing the promotion and activation of physical practice in companies while pushing and embodying the themes of diversity (gender, intergenerational, disability …) within the professional environment.

WAC

The WAC project is a direct continuity of EMoCS – European Meetings of Company Sport – which showed the potential and need to develop a certification for companies dedicated to promoting health enhancing physical activity in and around the workplace.

PACTE+

The Promoting Active Cities throught Europe project aims to encourage cities to take a proactive approach to the promotion of physical activity, in sight of improving individual and collective well-being.

SCforH

The third international SCforH project entitled “Creating Mechanisms for Continuous Implementation of the Sports Club for Health Guidelines in the European Union.” The aim is to increase participation in sport and physical activity in the European Union by encouraging sports clubs and associations to implement Sport Clubs for Health principles in their activities.

ESCSE

European Social Charter for Sport Events aims to create a Social Charter that is suitable to widest audience possible amongst the sport events organisers.This Social Charter aims to be a reference document in social policies in the sport sector in the European Union.

EMoCS

EMoCS aims at promoting voluntary activities in sport to tackle today’s diagnosis of an “unacceptably high” level of inactivity among European citizens.

SWinG

SWinG’s ambition is to facilitate and support aspiring women sport leaders in attaining a change-making position in sport governing bodies.

HEMA

The HEMA project intends to raise awareness on the importance of health-enhancing exercise through increased participation in- and equal access to- physical activity and active mobility for all, especially in the workplace.

PACTE

Funded by the European Union and led by Sport and Citizenship Think tank, PACTE+ project (Promoting Active Cities Throughout Europe) strives to transform cities into Active Cities.
